Any room or interior can become a sacred space—a bedroom, an entire home, or a creative space like a studio or office. What transforms these areas into sacred space is their ability to naturally support physical well-being and deepest life intentions, as well as energetic flow.

 
I support people in their homes and their places of livelihood through two ways of creating and maintaining sacred, supportive space : space clearing and feng shui. This work is a natural gift of mine and I am trained in space clearing by my teachers in the Mayan spiritual healing tradition, and in feng shui through the New York Institute of Art and Design.  ​

Space Clearing 

 

A space clearing is indicated when your home or work place feels 'off' - this typically shows up as feeling heavy, draining and 'stuck' rather than restorative and joyful in the space. Often those living or working in the space show signs of fatigue, lack of motivation, and sometimes agitation and arguing.  In a place of business a clearing is often indicated when employees are not getting along or sticking around, and when clients and customers aren't flowing into the business. Again - the work or life happening in the space will feel stuck and heavy.

 

Here are some other situations and life events that can also indicate that space clearing will be beneficial :

• After a long bout of illness or hardship in the household

• After a divorce or separation or any heavy experience of someone exiting the household

• When someone in the household is struggling with behavioral issues and emotional agitation

• When life feels overall stagnant or when in a depression

• After a family member passing, especially if they were ill or died in the home

• When calling in a change of life, such as wanting to make space for a new relationship to come in, or a new career, or a new and refreshed feeling about life

Rates vary by size of space.  For a 2500 sq. foot home, rate is $550.  Clearings take two to four hours.

Feng Shui  

​

Feng shui is an ancient art of arranging and decorating space to create healthy energy flow and to support goals, intentions, physical health and the relationships within the space (such as between family members or co-workers).  
 
​Methods of feng shui vary from ritualistic and magical to the very practical.  I practice feng shui in a highly practical form that is also based in intention and beauty. Through simple but intentional shifts, your space can have a completely different feel that — for example — boosts your creative energy, promotes relational connection, or invites meditative rest. It's all based on what you deeply need.  In the before and after photos down below, you'll see a space that was specifically created with elements that foster a sense of grounding, comfort, rest and warmth for a family who wasn't experiencing those feelings in their lives or in their home.  

 

This is how it works :

1) Over a cup of medicinal tea in your space, I'll bring us into a depth-filled conversation about where energy feels blocked in your life, what your highest goals and intentions and hopes are for your life, how you currently feel when in your space and how you would like to feel in your space. 

2) From there I'll use feng shui's wisdom of room arrangement and energy flow to recommend the ideal furniture arrangement for you, and feng shui's brilliant understanding of color, texture, shape, materials and other elements for bringing the exact energy and feeling into the space that supports your needs.

3) Many suggestions will be made in person during our consultation time, and then I will create a thorough list of recommendations for you — with color palettes, furniture and accessory examples included — for each room that needs support.  After our consultation and receiving this personalized follow-up document, you'll have a thorough understanding of the shifts that need to be made (and why), and have very clear and inspiring direction.  If you choose to purchase any new furnishings, art or accessories based on the recommendations, I'll be available to help you make decisions (this is included in the consultation price).

Below is a lovely example of a space that was transformed through these methods. This client was : feeling uncomfortable and unsettled in the home, ungrounded and low-energy in their daily life, and sleeping poorly. All of these problems shifted significantly after our work together!    

We easily shifted the space from feeling bare, empty and ungrounded into a home that brings the whole family warmth, comfort, connection, vitality and grounding.  Checking in with the family years later, they affirmed feeling very healthy, happy and well in their home!
